Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, May 5th, 2013, 8:03 am

Stan, I can't even get started on how dumb that is. Will, fix this please.

Coloring by Megan, and you can click Computer under the comic to see the vote incentive.

Also! I need music. Can anyone recommend any good supervillain or mad scientist songs? Or even just anything that reminds you of Evil Plan? (And no Dr. Horrible or anything by Jonathan Coulton. We're covered there. :3 )

He "choose" her. That is grounds to slap.

sonicmadgirl, May 5th, 2013, 8:29 am

Okay, yeah.
NOW I envy her.

And Alexis, I sent you a list of songs a while back.

Also, "When you're evil" by Voltaire.

Kevin's (headcanon) theme would probably be "Hero" by Drew Ryan Scott

shylarah, May 5th, 2013, 9:30 am

I think I'm with Andrew on this one...

booklover4177, May 5th, 2013, 2:52 pm

I agree with Andrew and shylarah. Also Will is so cute while being all jealous in the 4th panel.

Charil, May 5th, 2013, 4:07 pm

I dunno, "I attempted to consolidate you into one word, and 'economically savvy' doesn't count so I went with 'adorable'." is a pretty bangin' pickup line! Or valentine, perhaps.

AcolyteofDaniel, May 5th, 2013, 5:54 pm

Did ya maybe ASK her, Kinny?

comicgirl, May 5th, 2013, 9:15 pm

I dunno see a real issue with this. He just spent an entire class period where he could have focused immensely on learning to try and come up with a proper word to sum up a female. And he chose adorable.

Honestly, I think he just worded it wrong. Regardless of his motivations, he's obviously interested and maybe a tiny bit attracted. I see this as natural.

shylarah, May 5th, 2013, 10:44 pm

Considering how intelligent Stanley is, I doubt he has to pay much attention in class in order to learn. I was always thinking about other things in class, or reading a book, or drawing, and had no trouble getting everything.
It still is kinda cute, though. He's obviously trying.

chocolatecake5000, May 6th, 2013, 12:55 am

I'm Joseph and I made an account today. Finding an avatar picture is hard... anyway good for you Stan.

RazorD9, May 6th, 2013, 3:38 am

Oh Kinny. Need to use that thesaurus a bit more.

JillB (Guest), May 6th, 2013, 3:52 am

Mr. Tinkertrain - Ozzy Osbourne

PersephoneWatching, May 6th, 2013, 4:49 am

Am I the only person who noticed the first speech bubble is said by both of them?

Just saying...

lilmissbunnybitch, May 6th, 2013, 9:57 pm

oh lordy are we gonna have a jealousy ring?

diceknight, May 7th, 2013, 1:45 pm

Awww yiss, Kinny answered my question. :3 It's a solid plan.

Music! Look into stuff by Kirby Krackle, and Dr. Steel. Kirby Krackle's a very upbeat nerd group with some good hero/villain songs, and Dr. Steel is a steampunk artist whose persona is a supervillain. (To my knowledge, he never broke character during his career.)

Tachikoma's Uncle (Guest), May 10th, 2013, 4:13 am

RE: Music
Mostly Autumn--Science & Machinery
Pink Floyd--Astronomy Domine
Renaissance--Jekyll & Hyde (qualifies as mad science music but it is folk)
Rick Wakeman--The Battle (Debatable; but included due to giant sea monsters)
Weird Al Yankovic--I Think I'm a Clone Now
Weird Al Yankovic--Livin' in the Fridge
Dresden Dolls--Coin Operated Boy
Flight of the Conchords--The Humans Are Dead
Rose & the Arrangement--The Cockroach That Ate Cincinatti
Richard Thompson--I Can't Wake Up to Save My Life
Voltaire--When You're Evil
Cave Johnson--Lemon Rant(You'll need to pirate this)
Alien Sex--Zombiefied
David Bowie--Space Oddity
Guided by Voices--I'll Replace You With Machines
Mothers of Invention--Brain Police
Rogue Wave--Good Morning
Rock Horror Picture Show Soundtrack--Time Warp

Most Songs by Abney Park or Professor Elemental, although they're both decidedly on the steampunk end of the mad science spectrum.

Pretty much the entire soundtrack for Battlestar Galactica

The soundtracks for both Ghost in the Shell films, along with the soundtrack for both seasons Stand Alone Complex.

Music and...
Music: Metallica- Disposable Heroes
or Iron Maiden- 666 Number of the beast.

Changing topic, I hoped he would say "chose" not "selected". That would have been great ground for "Pokemon" jokes.

Alexis_Royce, May 11th, 2013, 8:16 am

@diceknight: I'm pretty much binging on Kirby Krackle right now. Definitely going to buy an album or two. Chels is especially digging it.

@Tachikoma's Uncle: Thank you very much for taking the time to compile such a long list! I'm looking forward to going through it. And never, ever apologize for sending me folk music, ESPECIALLY when it comes with a title like that. :3

@Guest: Thank you, too! And I can totally see Mae being a little Chikorita. ^_^

Alexis_Royce, May 23rd, 2013, 8:17 am

@PersephoneWatching: And you're totally right; I was trying to have Will cut in and say it with Stan, but I should've had them both in the panel to do that. Fixed it so Will just cuts in ion his own.

And thank you for pointing it out! It's good for me to be able to see mistakes. ^_^

Bean (Guest), March 3rd, 2014, 4:06 pm

I think I like this comic even more now that I know other people know who Jonathan Coulton is.
