Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, February 23rd, 2014, 9:07 am

Sounds like that program has more guts than the real thing, Will.

Coloring by Megan. Also, this week's vote incentive is the finished version of my wedding invites, guest starring Will, as well as Billy Thatcher from morphE. I hope sharing that isn't too self-indulgent, but wedding planning does start to bleed into everything else.

NYAAAAAAAAAAAW~~
Stan, you are one idiot of a genius.

ElyssaJM, February 23rd, 2014, 9:13 am

I think Will has a new found respect for his computer counterpart.
Since they both have no chance with Stan.
Stan, you are so oblivious.

AcolyteofDaniel, February 23rd, 2014, 9:59 am

Ooooohhhh
Stan, not THAT kind of hungry!

BattleStarX, February 23rd, 2014, 10:08 am

Aww... baby computer just keeps getting cuter.

Love your wedding invites, Alexis. Hope it ends up going well for you.

Evilbob (Guest), February 23rd, 2014, 1:13 pm

Either more guts than the real thing or not enough intelligence to execute inhibitory thoughts yet.

Andrew Wolfwood, February 23rd, 2014, 4:25 pm

The invites look lovely. May I ask the theme? Or is is just a casual

Alexis_Royce, February 23rd, 2014, 6:17 pm

@AcolyteofDaniel: Dang, that's a joke worthy of Lime!

@BattleStarX: Thank you very much! We're planning to livestream it, so everyone gets to be invited. ^_^ I'll give everyone the details later once they're finalized.

@Andrew Wolfwood: Thanks! It is going to be a steampunk wedding. I've already got my dandy coat and everything. ^_^

Andrew Wolfwood, February 23rd, 2014, 6:46 pm

Oh, that sounds lovely. Please post picture, and try not to shove cake into each other faces, that is looked at as poor manners.

May I ask the flower choice. And please do not say just red rose, but what color of red. Most don't get that even different shades of red mean different things.

Alexis_Royce, February 23rd, 2014, 6:58 pm

@Andrew Wolfwood: My my, aren't you specific! I'm slicing apart old books and folding their pages into our flowers. We begin our wedding with a massacre.

But seriously, I've seen too many old books go to waste. This way, a couple unloved volumes get to live on as something else, instead of getting pulped.

Andrew Wolfwood, February 23rd, 2014, 7:28 pm

Oh no, I love the idea. I do origami as a hobby since I was Six, when my aunt gave me my first origami book. My specialty is origami flowers, my favorite is my Lilly. I can fold them as small as a grain of rice, no kidding.

So it can't fly yet?

Psychikos, February 24th, 2014, 8:08 pm

It's official
Stan is denser than Jupiter.

endplanets (Guest), February 26th, 2014, 1:41 am

@Psychikos
Actually Jupiter is the least dense planet in our Solar System.
The net gives it at 1.33 g/cm^3.
Water has a density of 9.8 g/cm^3 which is similar to a normal human's density since humans just barely float in water.

But Stan is still an airhead (damn, so close to being a pun).

endplanets (Guest), February 26th, 2014, 1:42 am

Holy Fracking Poop, this seriously could be a game changer.

Find a target, secretly download their mind, and then have that AI tell you everything about the suspect.
Heck you could kill the target and have the AI replace them.
It could be like Inception where you have to quietly copy the target's mind without them or the cops knowing.

But the AI won't want to give you the info at first since it wants to protect its original obviously. Then you have to trick the AI into giving you the info. Maybe through a fake Matrix world (like in Rick and Morty or Invader Zim), torturing it (theme of torturing AI as bad), or modifying its intelligence level (theme of lobotomizing an AI as bad).

Not only is this immortality, semi-cloning, free labor, and perfect video game co-op partner, but it is also the ultimate spy weapon.

You could seriously base an entire movie/tv show off of this.

Alexis_Royce, February 27th, 2014, 4:15 pm

@endplanets: I adore AI plots. Evil Plan keeps it pretty simple and at a personal level with Will just sitting around, existing. But in a friend's tabletop campaign, I did play a mad scientist who spent the better part of a year building a small device that could scan and save a person's entire brain from a few feet away. She also created a program that allowed the scan to run as AIs, and over time, upgraded it to include voices and low-res visual models.

She did some very interesting things with those AIs. It was a fun time.

TOO DARN CUTE!
It keeps asking me out to dinner...
