Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, March 23rd, 2014, 11:37 am

Experimental brain surgery is sometimes done with a conscious patient, in order to more closely monitor them for signs of brain damage. IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN JUST SHOVE A SPIKE INTO YOUR HEAD, STAN. WHO THE HELL TAUGHT YOU TO OPERATE LIKE THAT?

There's still two weeks left to send in a guest comic, if you'd like to help us out. On April 11th, Chels and I are getting married, and Meg will be one of my bridesmaids, so we'll be terribly busy.

Speaking of that, I can't invite you all to the actual wedding, but I'll be posting a link to the livestream here in the days beforehand. You're all cordially invited to the internet party. :D

And as usual, there is a new vote incentive. Whew. Is that enough news? I think that's enough.

"Quit stalling and make me into a superhero!"
...And thus, the most morbidly ironic line of the whole comic thus far was born.

Does... did "Conscious" REALLY mean completely sans any kind of painkiller? Really? Ohgeez....

BattleStarX, March 23rd, 2014, 1:14 pm

Something's wrong here... you tied down the arms, but left the legs free. That can't be good for a stationary subject.

@AcolyteofDaniel: @BattleStarX:
These are the reasons why Stan and Will should really have stricter safety regulations.

Seth (Guest), March 23rd, 2014, 3:42 pm

My immediate reaction to the last panel: He's faking it. This is his payback for all of Will's whining and last-minute protests.

Psychikos, March 24th, 2014, 9:27 pm

Well at least he got the Super part right

Arcalian, March 24th, 2014, 10:16 pm

Oh Stanley you silly boy
Did you honestly think you were gonna be a good guy?

I'd love to do the comic, but alas, I only write.

Aslandus, March 26th, 2014, 8:36 am

Well then...
Turns out, shoving things into your brain can cause some minor discomfort...

Alexis_Royce, March 27th, 2014, 10:47 am

@Arcalian: No worries! It's nice of you to even consider helping. :D
