Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, October 3rd, 2014, 1:44 pm

Yeah. This is totally the exact same thing as reanimating a human being. I can't imagine a person ever being freaked out by this happening against their wishes.

Coloring by Meg this week. And please click Computer under the comic to see the new vote incentive. It's a sketch comic this time!

Kurapika: Stan's just full of good ideas.

@RazorD9: Waking up to the knowledge that your own sentience is debatable is part of this balanced breakfast.

@SassyThePokemonLover: Computer!William is based off a brain scan done before the accident, so he never was able to form the memories of his own death. In an earlier draft, I had that part switch to surveillance footage, but I didn't want to give you three or four pages, black and white, of the same camera angle. If I can make it work, I might try it in the future, though.

RazorD9, October 5th, 2014, 10:30 am

Who wouldn't want to wake up to discover they no longer have a body, that they are a copy, and they no longer have a penis! Folgers step aside, for you are no longer the best part of waking up!

SassyThePokemonLover, October 5th, 2014, 12:38 pm

I've always found it odd that reanimated people sometimes don't remember they've died, and when they do they aren't traumatized by the fact.

SassyThePokemonLover, October 5th, 2014, 1:03 pm

@Alexis_Royce: I'm sorry if I implied that Computer! Will was from after the accident. I think you did a good job of showing he wasn't, and it wouldn't make sense if he was. One reason being his brain was probably fried in the accident. Really I meant to reply to your author's comment about reanimated people freaking out.

Alexis_Royce, October 5th, 2014, 2:20 pm

@SassyThePokemonLover: No worries! I figured you caught the sarcasm in my author's comment, so I just had fun talking about in-universe stuff.

Imagine it... total access to the internet post-death. I can think of worse things.

Can't wait until next Sunday to see what happens!

BattleStar has a valid point. :D

The power of the Internet in my mind! Excuse me while I do...... Something.

bookbadass, October 7th, 2014, 11:29 am

I started this last night and just finished/caught up with it! SO GOOD. And the first webcomic I`ve ever read (aside from when I started Homestuck, but I`m still not even halfway through it yet). I didn`t know all this even existed until yesterday! And I just voted; those waffle nuts sound amazing!

Alexis_Royce, October 7th, 2014, 1:09 pm

@bookbadass: Wow, I'm really flattered that you read through it all, especially being new to webcomics! I like Homestuck too, and if you're up for a really long read, you'll enjoy the ride.

If you're looking for more webcomics, I could give you some recommendations. If you scroll up to the top of this site, you'll see a button for our "Links" page. There are some more excellent comics to read there. (And full disclosure: my other two webcomics are also on that page).

If you're looking for a big 'ol list, Topwebcomics.com has just about every webcomic on it. You can find comics of every genre and style there.

Happy Reading!

bookbadass, October 7th, 2014, 2:02 pm

@Alexis_Royce: Thank you so much! I`ll definitely be checking some more out! (And maybe in the future I`ll be making my own?? I don`t know.) :D

Alexis_Royce, October 9th, 2014, 9:13 am

@bookbadass: Good luck! If you do end up making a comic, PM me a link when it's done, so I can check it out. ^_^

Johnc713: Ah, the ceddege spammers are back. I actually kind of missed you guys. You're like pigeons. A little annoying, and too many will have a very negative impact on the location. But as long as you're not hurting anyone, and it's just in small doses, it's kind of nice to see you tottering about.

AcolyteofDaniel, October 9th, 2014, 2:34 pm

Stan's not so good at this whole "people" thing, is he.

Thisguy (Guest), April 14th, 2018, 7:37 pm

they never called him a Cameraman
