Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, October 28th, 2017, 4:39 pm

Man, forget TK, Kinny's real power is the ability to open those plastic containers with such ease.

Coloring by me this week, and we have a new vote incentive. Give it a click and check out this week's sketch, and you'll make us terribly happy.

Indeed, Alexis, those plastic packaging things are the very definition of evil.

Especially when you buy a device designed to easily open them and guess what, it's in one of those packages itself.

Alexis_Royce, October 30th, 2017, 8:31 am

@BattleStarX: Haha, I saw one of those devices once, packaged in one of those same diabolical plastic shell. Felt like a very cruel irony.

HamPlan (Guest), October 29th, 2017, 9:03 am

Please keep in mind that in this universe/timeline the packaging was replaced with something resembling razor blades on contact with skin. Any attempt to vigorously open them with speed may result in cuts or amputation.
Avoid exposed edges.

Alexis_Royce, October 30th, 2017, 8:32 am

@HamPlan: I think the plastic shells in this world already have that property. One of these days I'm gonna lose a finger.

Grocery store armory actually puts Stan at a distinct tactical advantage. Kevin may be more powerful than him but unless he has the precision to stop all the items being hurled at him he may actually get warded off.

Hydra, October 29th, 2017, 3:56 pm

@stkbayfield: now that I think about it you've brought up an interesting thought, I think Stan's telekenisis is more refined and better for use with multiple objects at once, while as Kevin's seems to be more brute force, pushing things away, lifting one thing up at a time, and so forth.

Alexis_Royce, October 30th, 2017, 8:36 am

@stkbayfield:

Yes, indeed. Kevin only has the telekinetic upgrade. That chip was designed to work in tandem with Kinesis' current chip, to raise the weight limit. However, the upgrade foregoes things like fine motor control, or the ability to lift multiple things at once. Stanley's TK, once installed, was fairly easy to use. Kevin's had to scrape and practice to get his anywhere close to under control.

I really love that slasher grin in the second panel!

so, why has no one else noted how his wording here sounds like the start of a break-up call?

Is it just me seeing it?

Ronan (Guest), November 6th, 2017, 1:18 am

@Miyto I think it's just Stanley's default awkwardness. In anyone else it'd be ominous, but in Stanley it's just... words. Heh. Though of course I could be wrong.

Skill versus brute strength. Barring weird luck skill generally triumphs. Go Stanley! Also @Broken Gear agreed x]
