Pfft XD Can't wait to see him in that superhero suit. LOL, wonder who designed it?

chibigirl1370, August 16th, 2009, 11:32 pm

naming ones attacks is the first sign of a super hero! lol.

ninjakitties, August 17th, 2009, 2:52 am

...but wouldn't it be entertaining if one of them WAS a ninja?
I never understood naming your attacks. Doesn't that just tell your opponent what you're planning?

Hokova, August 17th, 2009, 3:54 am

lol...I could never be a superhero.Their embarrassing...

Loverofpiggies, August 17th, 2009, 3:51 pm

How odd! I seem to recall this page from somewhere before...

Alice seems to start getting into this business! :D

Joobaloob56 (Guest), August 18th, 2009, 1:18 am

um...with all due respect...i would have to say that superheros don't name their attacks....superman, spiderman, etc.

a better comparison would be to Naruto or One Piece, but i do see what you're trying to pull off here and i guess you had no other choice...

plus, the guards aren't exactly the brightest bulbs in closet (Understatement of the Year Award; Ino is smarter than those guys)

Ah...you are correct, but he's not exactly a "superhero", he's a video game character.

Mr.Skeptical, August 18th, 2009, 1:47 am

Re: Actually.......
Well what about people like Captain Falcon? He's not an anime-type hero, yet he names his attacks.

On another note, cool banners on the vote pages. ^-^

I thought there was a show or something as well?

Gymgee, August 18th, 2009, 1:53 am

fomalol at the first panel!

Arcalian, August 18th, 2009, 2:54 pm

She doesn't want your help, "Amazing Man"
She clearly enjoys playing Boss, though. Finding more in common with Kinesis, eh? Heheheh.

And I would be rooting for the Superhero, in any other comic. But this isn't any other comic, it's Evil Plan. So I root for Kinny and "friends".

Chameleon (Guest), August 18th, 2009, 10:24 pm

I love the comic... I just found you today and love the story so far ;)

Theoneintheshadows (Guest), August 19th, 2009, 12:19 am

Kitsune (Guest), August 19th, 2009, 3:08 am

"WOO, yeah, go heist artists!
*police dude walks up behind me and crosses his arms*
"Oh, uh, haha, um, yeah...bye!"

Vortok (Guest), August 19th, 2009, 9:00 am

Great stuff
Just wandered over her from a banner on thenoobcomic.com Great comic thus far, was a little sad when I got to the current one and couldn't hit next anymore. :(

I usually try to read comments from the author (management, whatever) in various comics and it's nice to see you have yours so easy to find... I had to hit back a few times to read 'em because I kept hitting next, so I suppose that means you have a "page turner" haha. Gonna get my GF to read this one, I'm sure she'll love it.

And the "named his attacks" line is classic. ^_^

MacDunwald, August 20th, 2009, 2:29 am

I discovered this comic today and all I can say is ... sweetness! I look forward to how the doctor who is not prepared for a hero will deal with the hero who is not prepared for a villain

Loverofpiggies, August 20th, 2009, 6:11 pm

wow, you must have found some awesome sites to host your ads cause you just gained a whole bunch of new fans Alexis!! :D

Alexis_Royce, August 20th, 2009, 6:53 pm

Topwebcomics, baby. ;)

Loverofpiggies, August 20th, 2009, 7:11 pm

OMG I may have to steal your adspace there for a bit. :D

Alexis_Royce, August 20th, 2009, 7:57 pm

Don't worry, it's not a ProjectWonderful Ad, so there's room enough for both of us. ^_^

I'm curious if there's any significance to the purple special effects that show up whenever the good doctor is using his powers. What's going on there?

I've got a telekinetic character in my webcomic too, but she doesn't get any cool effects. ^__^

Mr.Skeptical, August 22nd, 2009, 6:23 pm

RE: Purple
I'm rather sure that the purple effects are used to indicate objects being lifted by Tal. Also, you'll notice orange effects around Kev's "Amazing Punch" fist, which I would assume means he's using his telekinesis to awesome up his punch.

swankivy (Guest), August 22nd, 2009, 8:00 pm

Purple II
In response to Mr.Skeptical, yes, I know that the effects indicate objects being lifted, and I saw the orange effects for the other guy, but my question was about what their significance is. For instance, are those effects "actually" there in that other people can see them--purple stuff that is actually a part of the effect?--or is it just for the comic? If it IS just for the comic and not "actually" appearing, I still wondered about whether purple had a significance, and I saw a reference to Tal's eyes being purple when he uses his powers in a character-design extra.

Mandi (Guest), August 23rd, 2009, 10:48 am

"No wait, he's not a superhero, hes a... a... Magical Girl!!"
"Magical shiny love blast!"

MAKDragon (Guest), August 23rd, 2009, 12:50 pm

Dicovered this webcomic today, and read it in about an hour. Fantastic comic, I love all the characters, keep it up! I can't wait for the next update!

Sonow, October 4th, 2009, 4:44 pm

Naming your attacks coul have a bennifit, if you name then wrong. Ex:

"oh. ow."

My characters have a similar effect... Nightfrost is a fire-user. XD His bro, Nightblaze, ice type.
