Your Overlords Declare:
Alexis_Royce, March 22nd, 2010, 7:42 am

When writing, I frequently get the feel that Alice could easily have a much...broader vocabulary, if you know what I mean. XD But I'd rather keep Evil Plan at about a PG13 rating, so no sailor mouths here.

You tell him Alice! On the flipside, Kinny look what you've done! Dang I understand both sides and why, its hard to choose. Alice has a point in that last panel, but I'm not sure if Kinny has any interest in earning respect.

Silly Alice. Fear > Respect. :D

Alice realizes what "supervillain" means, right? I think earning society's respect ceases to be a concern when one makes the fact that they're an insane criminal who regularly transgresses social norms an integral part of their self identity.

Also, I'm pretty sure that the society around them doesn't care whether Tal is a "respectable" supervillain or not. He's a criminal. The police will kill or jail him regardless of the way he comported himself during his years-long crime spree.

I'm starting to think that Alice is the truly insane one. She has relatively little problem with killing a man with a tub of acid fruitcake, but becomes extremely upset when the villain who ordered her to do so isn't on his best behavior while making a threatening public statement. She doesn't have an actual conscience, but has a sensitivity to disapproval so extreme that disapproval-by-proxy causes her to freak out more than Actual Murder.

We already know that Alice....
....is insane enough to want to be a villains second, and that her unintentional auditon was burning her old job to the ground.

All of that said, she's right and Kinesis needs to be smarter about this. That doesn't mean he's going to be. She should consider herself forunate he did not attacked her further.
