Hello, all! My friends and I started a horror story today. We are proud -in our own schadenfreude way- to present morphE, a horror story that combines visual novels, webcomics, and the creeping things that followed you out of your nightmares. It updates three times a week, on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Also, the website itself has a bit of a game to it, so if you like what you've read, browse around a bit, and you'll start to uncover some rather fun things. It's a very, very dark story, so please bear that in mind while reading.

Convention Schedule

Hello all! I'm happy to say that this year is going to be chock full of conventions! We're going to absolutely as many as we can handle/afford.

Shuto Con April 5th-7th in Lansing, Michigan
Anime Central May 17-19, 2013 in Rosemont, Illinois
TrotCon June 14–16 in Columbus, Ohio
JAFAX June 22-23 in Allendale, Michigan
Anime Midwest July 5-7 in Rosemont, Illinois
Gencon August 15-18 in Indianapolis, Indiana (We won't have a table, but you may bump into us at a LARP or two.)
NMA Con: September 7-8 in Traverse City, Michigan
Kollision Con: November 15-17 in Rosemont, Illinois

You'll note that that all these conventions are in the Midwest; I wish we could go to cons much farther out; but we're still small fries, so plane tickets and hotel rooms are pretty expensive. But please still feel free to suggest cons that aren't on the list; I'd love to try to get out to a con near you!

As always, please stop by our table if you'll be at any of these cons. You don't even have to buy anything, just stop by and say hi. Also, if you bring a weird, unopened food (like in a sealed bag, can or box) then Chelsea and I will both eat it and thank you by name on our next livestream. And you haven't lived until you've watched us put fruitcake in a blender and consume it.

During last night's livestream party I rolled the winners for the Evil Plan January contest! Here they are:

Happy new year, everyone! As the clock rolls over, Evil Plan turns six years old. I think it's time for another contest, don't you? easy. Let's look at the prizes first, because prizes are fun.

Prizes:

Third Prize: A set of Evil Plan phone charms, and a print copy of the Evil Plan prologue, with any Evil Plan character you want drawn in the inside cover, personally telling you thanks.

Second Prize: Everything from third prize, and Alexis will draw a full-color chibi of anyone your heart desires. She'll send that art to you, and she'll do something extra with it. What will she do? Only the winners get to know that secret. :3

First Prize: Everything above, plus a bag of your choosing handmade by Megan, and a sculpted phone charm from Chelsea!

Rules:

-Post in your journal, blog, twitter, wherever, about why you like Evil Plan, and include a link. It doesn't have to be fancy. Something like: I read Evil Plan. This comic has faces, and that's pretty much okay: [link] is totally fine by us.

-Like us on Facebook. The button's right under the comic, and we don't spam you or anything. If you don't have a Facebook, then skip this step. (We aren't here to follow rules, remember?)

-Let me know you're done! You can comment on the news post here, on Facebook, send me a PM, whatever makes you comfortable.

-I'll write down that you entered, and put a top secret number next to your name.

-Contest ends January 31st, 11:59 PM. On the day after that, February 1st, we'll have a livestream party. I'll draw some Kinesises, answer some questions, probably lie about all my answers, maybe eat a fruitcake or something (oh God not again don't make us do that again), and then I'll randomly pick the winners. I'll probably roll for them, unless the numbers get really big. I like my dice better than random number generators.

-If you want to sweeten the deal, bribe me. If in addition to your post, you make some fanart, I'll give you another two numbers. That's triple the chance of winning. An you can do anything you want: draw a picture, write a fic, snap a screenshot of your Evil Plan sim family, decorate an Evil Plan fruitcake (WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT DON'T DO THAT PLEASE), whatever floats your boat. But you'll only get a maximum of two extra numbers; I don't want anyone to spend the month overdoing it.
